scions are slow...

its been too long since my last run, this happened within the last 15 minutes. im driving on empty nearly heading to the gas station. classic, sitting at a red light when two guys in a last gen integra pull up. the driver gives it a rev. i spy an intake for sure. i look over with the biggest grin and nod. his buddy is like hes not gonna go for it, scions are slow. well, i will show him what the little scion can do i take him off the light easily and by 70 i have 2 cars on him. i could NOT stop smiling, completely blew his doors off. i drop it back to 45 cruise and he paces me. we go again to about 80 and i pulled again, a little slower this time but i had about a car to a car and a half. i even missed my turn to the gas station, but it was worth it. neither would look over at me after. i guess scions are slow, integras are just slower a well deserved great night socal hasnt been the place to race lately =/ stupid gas prices

Scions are slow. Who knew?

Just get an aftermarket supercharger (NOT the TRD one. It sucks) and supporting mods and you will no longer be slow. Well, by scion standards anyways.

Re: scions are slow...

nah no supercharger, im savin for my subaru! speaking of which i took my tC for regular service yesterday and decided to browse around the lot while i was waiting, there was a sexy blue tacoma x-runner i spent gawking at for a while. the next row over, there it was a silver STi 2005 w/ 49k miles. for 26k blue book values are like mid-low 20s, but i figured i could talk him down =). we sat down to crunch numbers, using my tc as a trade in, but since i still owe money on my tc, the payments on the sti would be far too high for my budget, and i need a co-signer as well. bleh
