Antenna went out on my 2000 WS6 Trans Am, need to replace
Antenna wouldn't go up, but I could still hear the motor that runs it running. I popped the trunk, and removed the speaker panel, the wire that attaches to the antenna and wraps around the motor is snapped in two. I need to find a place to order an antenna. Has this happened to anyone here before?

Re: Antenna went out on my 2000 WS6 Trans Am, need to replace
A similar incident happened to me. Mine didn't snap, it just stripped itself to the point to where the plastic strip wouldn't catch the gear any more. I just pulled the whole antenna mast out and left the motor alone and kept it mounted where it was. Surprisingly still picking up every station too.
You can probably buy a replacement mast at the dealership. There used to be someone on ebay that sold them, but I cant seem to find them.
