Removing Grill-2004 Blazer

just got a 2004 Blazer to replace the old tired 93 S-10 Blazer. I a going to add a tranny cooler, but have a question on the grill. On my 93 it was easy to remove the screws and pop the grill off for this, but how big a deal is this on a 2004? I see no screws at all on this one, and do not have a GM manual for it yet. Can I add a cooler without doing this?

Re: Removing Grill-2004 Blazer

To remove the grill:
Open the hood.
Remove the grille by pulling it forward out of the radiator support.
Disconnect the headlamp washer filler hose from the grille, if equipped.
Remove the park/turn signal bulb assembly from the lens.
Remove the fog lamp bulb assembly from the lens, if equipped.

Does it simply snap out, or are there hidden screws I can't see or perhaps special clips??

Re: Removing Grill-2004 Blazer

They are V shaped clips. Usually with a slight pull, they will disengage. Other times they are extremely tight. At that time, it sometimes helps to get between the pieces with a flat tool to spread them apart and hope that nothing breaks.
