92 Euro brake problem

I recently purchased a 92 Euro that has a brake issue. When pulling up to a stop sign or just trying to stop the car, the brakes are real spongy, I can press the brake peddle all the way to the floor and it will stop, but not like it should. I have bled the system to make sure that wasnt the problem....any other ideas on what will fix this problem?

Re: 92 Euro brake problem

Many things can cause a spongy/low pedal, air for one, master cylinder is by passing, balloning brake hoses, rear brakes not operating ( common issues on the rear calipers and pins)worn caliper hardware. All these issues must be checked on the car, no quick answer for this.

I take it you are young....you couldn't throw a rock and not hit a Euro Lumina in the early 90's...
