Changing turn signals?!
I need to change the left turn signal (front) on my aerostar, and I have NO clue how to do it.
I checked the manual .. and there was NO help there either. Can someone give me detailed instructions on how to do this .. please?? Thanks. |

Re: Changing turn signals?!
Is it part of the headlight assembly ? Then you have to remove the headlight assembly. usually 2 bolts on the back side hold it all in.

Re: Changing turn signals?!
I honestly don't know if it's part of the headlight assembly. I assume that it is, but what I don't understand is how to get there.
Do I have to go behind it .. under neath .. or through the front?! I'm so confused. |

Re: Changing turn signals?!
There's a repair guide for the Aerostar on the Autozone website, and the procedure for replacing the turn signal lamp is described, with photos.
Go to http://www.autozone.com/ and click on Repair Info (left of page) then select your year, make and model. Then click on View Repair Guide, then Chassis Electrical, then Signal and Marker Lights. That will probably all lead you to this page, but go through the process anyway to make sure you get the right page for your particular model - it only takes two minutes. |
