Advise on My Messed Up Concept Car?

First off, I'm crazy, not stupid, and my ideas are kind of far out there in the twighlight zone sometimes, but bear with me. I tweak cars. Constantly. And the cars I modify make alot of people ask the question "why?" But I have an idea for a project in the near future, and this time I may have bitten off more than I can chew. So here's the concept car of mine. Please give me advise, criticism, or tell me if I'm an idiot...

My '94 Oldsmobile Achieva is already modified to suck: suck more air, suck more gas, and suck the cheesy grins off peoples faces when I race most Mitzi's and Hondas. With the quad OHC engine, my own little mods (hehe) and the police-surplus road-magnets of tires, it smokes alot of 6-cyls, but it's not good enough. Someone told me a 14 second Achieva was very feasable, and I could probably get better times than that. My wife's souped Dodge Neon can still give me a challenge. (hey, it's also a well-made americana sport-whoda thunk it, huh?) My pertinent question is this:

How can I get my car to live in infamy in Texas 1/4 mile history? This given that currently, I don't have alot of money to work with, or else I'd be making payments on a Lotus Elise. Can anyone help?

Ok well your going to go faster in that neon than u will in ur olds. There is so much more out there for the neon and they are pretty quick cars. I wouldn't call a 14 sec car fast ethier or supped up. You shoudnt be running 14 if anything worth doing has been done to it.

he can do a lot with a 6cyl. he can supercharge each bank of cyls. it's probably pushing somewhere near 180hp stock, at that point in time american car companies were still short on power in their cars, even the vette in 92 only had 225hp.
depending on her neon(srt4) ur olds might b to heavy and lack power compared to hers, and therefor she can keep up if not outrun u.

Ive been doing mods to my 90 buick century, and 1 thing I can say is lighten it up. Im looking into doing that to mine soon, the thing weighs close to 3500 lbs. You say you have good intake, do you have good exhaust? You could gut the cat, I plan on doing that soon, and get a decent exhaust, I have a flowmaster 40 or something like it. flowmaster 40 is around $20-$30. You have the 4 cyl?
