Buying an RSX-S

Hey guys, its about time for me to get a new car. My 97 eclipse isnt cutting it anymore lol. So, ive been looking into the rsx type s, and i read that its a pretty quick car and real nice. Now im looking to spend around 25,000$, i want a fast car and one that looks nice, which i think its the rsx. So what do u guys think i should do.

Thanks

Re: Buying an RSX-S

I think you should get what you like or you'll never be happy with it. If that happens to be a Type S, you won't be getting the fastest car out there, or a torque monster- but you could do much worse. It's quick, it's reliable (for the most part) and it looks damn good.

Try and get your hands on a MazdaSpeed3. Very low production (4250 for USA), performance comparable to the 335i (this MSP3 has like 260hp and 280tq IIRC).

Get what you want.

Do you want a nice daily driver? A street racing car? Or Auto X? Straightline speed or turns?

Re: Buying an RSX-S

New eclipse V6 is faster than the RSX. Much uglier though, IMO.

Buy a used STI

I love my RSX S.It is much better car than Eclipse. But if spendeing 25 grand for a fast car you not be happy it's is not a super performance car.
