514 Cobra Jet
Is a 514 Cobra Jet the same block as a 460?
What is the bore and stroke? Thanks in advance |

I've seen Ford Racing's SVO 514 crate motor. 600hp ain't too shabby. It's built on the aluminum 460 block, and it's tough as nails. Not sure about bore and stroke, but I know you can easily stroke this block up to 4.800" with no problems. The 514 shouldn't be a particularly hard conversion, if that's what you've got in mind. I'm not really a V8 guy, but it sounds like fun!
