cel light comes on
so when im driving my 93 gmc sonoma 2.8 5 speed, sometimes the cel light will just come on and then turn off. I just baught the truck and it is running right so i think its just a sensor or something, but my first queshtion is, it is a obd1 system correct. also on my old car i was able to use a jumper wire to make the computer go through a series of test and then flash out the codes. can i do this with my gmc and if so how?, and last queshtion is where can i get a obd1 scanner that is cheap but a good buy, not 300$ but more than 60$ a half way decent one.
thanks for the help guys. |

Re: cel light comes on
You can get the code scanned at autozone for free.,... Or you can paperclip the 2 top right holes of the ALDL to flash the codes to you. Yofu can pick up a cheap scanner at most autoparts stores for about 50 bux.
