Re: axel and cambers

I know axles can be a pain if you let them... it's all about having the right tools for the job. If you do, it's easy. If you don't, it can be a nightmare.

92-95 civic axles and del Sol axles are the same.

Re: Re: axel and cambers

The hardest part about replacing axles is getting the axle nuts off if you don't have air tools.

Lift & support front end
Remove wheel
Remove axle nut
Remove lower ball joint nut - seperate ball joint
Remove lower strut mount bolt
Pull knuckle/brake assy. off axle
Pull out axle - may need to pry axle from trans - pry on axle not trans or you may puncture axle seal.

By "cambers" I'm assuming you mean camber kits, those will vary depending on which style you have.

The best advice I can give is buy a repair manual, I rec. factory repair manuals from www.helminc.com or you can by a Haynes from most parts stores. Make sure you have all the proper tools before starting the job & make sure to have a can of penatrating oil, it's best to soak bolts that will be removed a day or two prior to repair.

if you have a hard time with the 32mm axle nut. pop out the center caps and lossen it with a breaker bar before jacking up the car
