Fujimi Civic EP3 Type R kit questions

I have the Si version of this car in real life and would like to make a replica of it with this kit. I found out there are two of them, what are the differences in them? I obviously would prefer left hand drive. The biggest things I do really want are the wheels to be the same as mine (stock USDM) and the Si badges. Does any other kit have the Si badges I could just steal from them?

Thanks for your help.

Re: Fujimi Civic EP3 Type R kit questions

well the model that im currently building is a type r, its a fujimi civic type r kit model number is (LA-EP3). It comes with right hand drive, what you can do is use willmos how to on converting right to left hand steering. I don't really know what can be done on the decal situation, but i think some older honda kits have si decals.

Re: Fujimi Civic EP3 Type R kit questions

The Revell Civic kit has Si badges in it which you could use. They would be a little on the small side, but they would look more correct since they'd be in the more modern script Honda used on this and the previous generation of Si, instead of the older script on the older cars. For the wheels, I don't know what you could do. Perhaps find some that you could modify to be close; I think some AVS model 5's would do the trick if you sanded the face flat, though a lot of folks here would cry bloody murder since those rims are kind of hard to find. Good luck.
