97 sierra spongy brake pedal
hi
97 brake probems 3500 7.4 spongy brake peddle ,will go to floor if pushed hard. I changed the master cyl two times.I replaced front brake lines,pads,rear shoes,rear wheel cly. blead brakes several times. any one else have this problem? help thanks doug |

3500 trucks have a hydroboost system..the pedal feel will be different.
The pedal will feel "spongy" during normal application. Has the pedal feel changed from what was normal?

I have owned the truck since 97 peddle pressure has changed I can push
it to the floor.feels like it has air in line that I cant ge out.help ! I my be behind you at a r&r crossing thanks doug |

man sounds like and i know what you said earlier but still sounds like air in the lines.
i know the newer systems are a real bi*&^ to bleed. just did a 98 jimmy and thought i might have gotten in over my head but finally got solid pedal after several and i mean several bleeds. |

I just read in a chiltons manual that you have to use a tech 1 scan tool
to bleed the abs box.???????????? |
