Well my car would not start, found out that the ignition fuse had blown i replaced the fuse and drove the car home, shut it off and went to restart it to make sure it was working, well the fuse blew again. Does anyone know why my ignition fuse keeps blowing...Please help

Re: ignition fuse
you possibly have either a wire grounding out or a component that is drawing too much current.. These can either be an easy fix or a real difficult one

Re: ignition fuse
does it blow in the middle of the night by itself? or when you go to start the engine, you could have a bad starter drawing too much amps, good luck

Hello,
Do you have an update to the fuse problem, I am having similar problems with a 2001 model blowing the underhood number #15 (start/fuel) fuse. Is this the same one that you are blowing? Mine exihibits the same problems replace fuse runs fine then with no warning wont start. Please relay any further info if you can. Thanks |
