Convertible Z? The hell??

Browsing caryards today came across the strangest thing.. Convertible 300ZX? Like full on soft-top with a bootlid.. Never seen this before in all my internet searching.. You guys got anything like this in the states?

yeah, there are a few of them. but they are the more rare ones. slicktop is rare, convertible is even rarer.

ive seen a white one here in adelaide
i really dont like the look of them at all heh
imo they look really shocking

No doubt.. Damn ugly! (even in black.. usually anything looks good in black..) Reminded me of a Ford Capri *shiver*

i believe the first year of the 'vert was 93.. then it went all the way to 96... some of em look good, like the one guy who did the single turbo conversion on his red 'vert.. pretty sick car.. pushing over 730 flywheel hp at 30+ psi of boost...

1988 300zx turbo 5spd. 3" mandrel exhaust, filter, afco rad, e-fan, poly engine mounts, mbc at 8.5 psi, turboxs rfl-h bov, gutted plenum, etc.

blown turbo, under construction.. gt35 coming.

They look alright not ugly no Z is ugly. that red Z single turbo looks really nice

i would get a polished lip on your car BBZ. black with black looks nice...but black with black and polished lip looks superb.

the video of that car is awesome, except that he misses 3rd twice. i don't like the look of convertibles because of the hatchless look.
