is it true?

is it true that you should not use MASSIVE and i mean MASSIVE front mount intercooler if ur running stock turbo? coz the turbos will lag...im not really sure about this but one of my lil brother friend just bought a 99 WRX...the car is sweet and fun to drive...until he installed a massive front mount intercooler...the damn turbo lag bad...he told me that the intercooler is way to big for his stock turbo charge...he know that im gona get my Zed soon...thats why he told me to get a medium size front mount intercooler since i wana run the stock T25 turbos

Okay, unless you are going with utterly huge massive insanely powerful turbos, you will never run a front mount on a Z32, unless you just want to be like that. The stock side mounts will be more than alright until you start upgrading turbos.

Another thing: Make one thread, ask alot of questions on it. Sam might not like having 10 different threads made by one person. Just sayin

Re: is it true?

i have heard from people and they have had the dyno sheets to prove it, but aftermarket side mounts get more power than front mounts do. plus, everybody gets a froun mount.

Eventually you have to go to huge a huge stacked double front mount just to flow enough air. But we're talkin like the 900+ rwhp range so...its not really anything anyone here will have to deal with.
