Angry Webger carb and vac

bought a jeep w/ a webber carb and a mongrel of a vaccuum job.

anyone have any ideas, or better yet, vac diagrams to hook up a 258 with one of these carbs??

What year is you`r jeep , do you have any pics of the engin bay I might be able to help a little.

A vaccuum diagram really is not necessary. There is precious little that is actually vaccuum operated on a Jeep CJ.

You need a ported vaccuum source for the distributor,(sometimes these Jeeps have a thermal selector switch on the intake manifold, that has both ported and manifold vacuum going to it. You can just bypass the thing an use straight ported vaccuum to the dist. )

Manifold vacuum to the transmission modulator, if you have a GM sourced automatic, (none at all if its a Chrysler auto).

The air cleaner has a vacuum flap valve and temp sensor that uses manifold vaccuum.

If you have an EGR, they use ported vacuum and and the fuel tank vapour cannister might use ported vacuum and manifold vacuum. However, the Jeep will run fine without the EGR and cannister hooked up.
