question about points

Hello i'm looking at a jeep i'm considering to buy it has points is it hard to convert it to electronic ignition?

It's easy. There are several kits available for this purpose. You can keep the existing distributor and coil, with some kits. The points and condensor are replaced with a module and magnetic trigger wheel, all of which fit under the existing distributor cap.

Also, there are companies that will either convert a GM HEI that you supply or sell you a converted HEI outright. That's the route I'm going when I save up the duckies.
