unorthodox racing pullies???
This question has probably been asked a millions times, but will the unorthodox racing pullies affect the life span of the 300zx?

It wont...
The crank and lower end of the VG30DE/DETT is machined so well, that the balance is perfect. All an underdrive system is doing is removed rotation from your accessory belts drive... Also it is much lighter. Over all it is a GREAT mod for your Zed. I would suggest it 100%. www.SGPRacing.com is the best price I have found. If your at all interested... -Wes

i want to do a underdrive pulley soon. i want lots a things. now all i need is money. how hard is it to replace the underdrive pulley?

It's pretty easy...I think you just take off the old pullies and put the new ones on...I could be wrong. They make these for Z31s too...I'm AMAZED at how friggin expensive they are. It's hard to rationalize spending that much money on a few pieces of aluminum...and I didn't think they did ALL that much.

i am pretty sure i read somewhere dont remember. it was a while ago that u can expect a lot bigger numbers than u would think on the z32. i think it was somethin like 10-12 horsepower. i could be wrong.

there has been debates about this but no hard eveidence has ever been proven. some said after 10-20k miles it will start to make the crank out of specs by not having enough counter weight and such. but like i said no hard proof so go for it. i am,
