We finally got it!!! I have a request for a Mod... Can you please move the thread in the Nonspecific section called 'GTO Restoration' to this forum. I think it rightfully should be here in the GTO forum. Here's two pics, a 1966 (like mine) and a 2004...

I love the new GTO's specs and interior......

The exterior lacks muscle though.

The front fascia is a the new Grand Prix for all intents and purposes.

The side profile is a 2 door Dodge Intrepid.

The rear view..it has all the stance and basic looks of a slightly revamped Oldsmobile Alero.

The rear end is a complete ripoff of the Holden Monaro.

Here is my current Background on my CPU, I have no webspace, So, imagine icons in the white, around the car, with none in the black bar at the top, It's a large photo, so I'll be kind to our 56kers:

That makes a lot of sense since that is basically what this car is. It is just Pontiac's Monaro with a different nose and engine... And Holden is owned by GM, which has much to do with that...

Re: pics

all these newer cars will never match up to the older muscle car. the Nova, Monte Carlo, GTO.. even the camaro. there is a lot to these cars that is lacking .. can't wait till they reinvent the Chevelle and make it look like a Civic on steroids.
