Question Bernie's big 2004 plan. What do you think?

I like it better than what we have this year. More compact, more action. Hope they ditch the no refuelling after qualifying rule though.

2 days might improve the show. Not sure why he's willing to go for 18 races though. Parc Ferme after qualifying is not so bad is it. It certainly turned stuff up side down this year and gave us standings as they are right now. Also later racing is OK for me. Sunday evening I have nothing better to do, now sometimes it conflicts with weekend plans.

More races should mean more money for F-1. It should help F-1 get more exposure. The two-day event format sounds good to me. If teams do can shave a day off of every event, think of the money they will save in travel costs. One less day of hotel fees, food costs, and so on. Not to mention it is one more night for team members to spend time with their families, if they are not working 24-hour shifts.

For fans coming to see the race on Sunday, they can enjoy final qualifying as well as the race. That adds value to their day at the track.

Bernie's plan sounds very interesting. I wonder what other changes they will make. They should discard the no refuelling rule and the one lap qualifying as well. The schedule seems to different though, he should've left Japanese GP to be last, and the US after summer not during it. The European GP seems to early also.
