I finally fixed the problem. The #10 fuse was not installed. The manual shows the turn signal is #8 fuse panel location. A posting from Derrick pointed to the right location. This site is great.

I have tried to find the turn signal relay and found the a relay to the right of the steering column that has a combo relay but i replaced it and nothing happended. I checked the fuses and relays in the power distribution panel and cannot find a problem with anything. I replaced the Turn Signal Switch in the steering wheel and nothing happens. The flashers, wipers and high beams work and i am out of idea on why i cannot fix the turn signals. Any ideas? This is a 1996 Cherokee 6 cylinder.

Have you checked the wiring leading to the signals? I've read a few threads where people had corrosion or chafing in the wires which cause shorts.

The flashers work so the power is getting to the turn bulb. When i use the turn signals there is no indicator shown on the dash and i suspect there must be a separate relay for the turn signal separate from the relays to the right of the steering column. I cannot find anything that discusses the location of the relay.

I have attached photos of the Relay Center to the right of the Steering Wheel, The Fuse Box and The Power Distribution Center. These are the only location i can find to check fuses and relays. Does anyone see anything that i should check to get the turn signals to work?

I added some photos of the relay center, fuse box and power distribution center and did not find a faulty fuse, or relay.

The power is getting there from the flashers, but obviously not from the turn signal.

I'm not the best electronics guy here and hopefully someone else will be along shortly, but I'd still guess it's in the wiring.

I have a 1995 Cherokee that I am having the same problem with. If you find out please do post what was wrong and I will do the same.

The fix was to install a 20 amp fuse in the #10 fuse panel on the drivers side. The manual said the turn signals were the #8 fuse and the #10 was blank but i found a wiring diagram from a 1/20.08 reply to a similar issue from Derrich on this forum. I hope this helps. I can repost the diagram if needed.

Thanks for the info. I put a fuse in and they work now. I beat myself up yesterday trying to figure it out. Thanks again. Headache solved
