running water on windows.

hello everyone, can anyone help me with this problem? I got a vauxhall astra 1.4 1998 reg. the problem is in cold weather and when it is raining aswell the windows on the inside is just running in water and the whole car is steamed up all the time. it takes about 1 hour with the heaters on to clear the windows. Has anyone had this problem and what is causing it???? really need some help asap. checked the carpets for water leaks and found no leak. Did noitce the drivers side door seal broken but not leaking. any ideas anyone??

Need to find out, if it's with the door, or window gasket.
Simulate rain, by using a garden hose with a little water pressure.

well i have tried that and no leaks found. so i am stuck.

Hi mate, sure as eggs is eggs you have a water leak somewhere, that doesnt make it any easier to find tho sorry but if you have a sunroof check the seals and leak off pipes from that and also check to make sure the leak isnt in the boot (very commonly missed out) lift the carpet up and make sure the spare wheel well isnt filled with water also a good check is to take the door cards off and make sure then vapour barrier films are not split (thin sheet of plastic covering all the holes in the door, it`s the first thing that gets ripped off if your car has ever needed any work in the doors) hope this helps, John.
