2000 Ford Focus 2.0L SPI Engine

Hello,
My daughter's 2000 Ford Focus is giving a warning light on the console for the airbag. I looked in my Hayne's manual and there wasn't a lot information on the airbag. Has anyone had an airbag warning light come up on their Focus?
