I need to apply RTV as I didnt use enough on the ridges and am loosing a couple drops of oil a day.
Just curious if its safe to use the same metal gasket after its been torqued to spec?

All that work to do over just to install a dollars worth of silicone, I hate when that happens, Been there.:banghead:
Get the new gaskets so you don't have to do it a 3rd time.

yeah it sucks but I like spending time working on my car (when I have time that is).
I read to use a lot of RTV but still didn't use enough. I know exactly where its leaking oil and funny enough I just needed a little dab more (tube ran out). Ah well, hopefully the experience will do me well.
