When if shift into 4x4 it feels like the brakes are pulling and there is rough sound from the back. When i shift back into 2WD it will not shift back right away, only when i turn the jeep off and wait 1 min will it shift back. Also my selec-trac has a hard time moving below 4wd Nutral, i have to pull with both hands very hard to move it. Any clues? I own a 2002 Jeep Grand Chorekee (50k)

I dont have any great solutions, my jeep sometimes has dificulty shifting into 4w high and low too, try to follow the handbook which states that you should roll at 3-5 mph to shiftfrom normal 2wd into 4wh and then I stop completly and put the trans into N then I never force the hand lever into N or past to 4wd low. I try to give it some pressure but if it doesnt slip right into it, I wil drive a few feet and put it trans back into N then try the 4wd low again. I also just replaced all my transfer case fluids hoping that would make it smoother. I just bought my jeep from a guy who new nothing about cars , no joke. But the fluid cjhange hasn't made much of a difference. I would say to just change your fluids, it can't hurt and don't fource it. Ya know? DRIVE IT LIKE YOU STOLE IT BROHAM!!!!!!!!!

I was reviewing your initial comments, and the back "pull" feeling might just be the feeling of the low gearing as it is different from the high gear. I don't wanna patronize you, i'm sure you feel the difference from high and low. Have you owned and used the 4wd for a long time and now all of a sudden it feels different, or are you like me where I just bought my jeep and I am not experianced with the usual feel of things in the 4wd range. The issue with not shifting back into 2wd quickly might be due to old or low trans fluid. My jeep did the same thing and I flushed the trans fluid and it is good now. Its good for a try.
