I have the FSM that has the spec, but I am not going to give it to you.
This past winter I changed my gasket out. Got the torque wrench out, sure enough I snapped one.. I replaced the bolt with and extra that I has, and tightend them without the torque wrench to what felt good, and no leaks..
according to the 93 FSM "cylinder head cover nuts = 44 lb.in"
Thats what I used and "snap" so either my wrench is off or the FSM is not correct. be carefull!!

I broke a valve cover lid last time I over-torque the nut. I also recommend going by feel. Barely tight should be enough.

Manual specs:
Valve Cover Bolt 44in. lbs. (5N.m)
Or just get it good and snug...
I used to be bad about getting every bolt and screw as tight as I could. I guess that's why I have about $300.00 worth of extractors, reverse bits and anything you can think of to get out broken bolts. At least I'm good at getting them out...
