01 GTP Compass reset

Anybody know how to reset the compass in the r/v mirror. Mine indicates "N" all the time.

wait a minute, you have a compass in your rear view mirror? I dont recall that being an option on GP's. Are you sure its not aftermarket?

yeah, the '00 and up GP's had an option to get a compass in the R/V mirror. as far as fixing it...itk, unplug the battery for a while? :dunno:

There is a procedure to recalibrate the compass. I don't remember how to get in to the calibration mode. But I do remember that once in the mode you have to drive the car in a circle then you are done with the calibration.

then drive car in circles
