Intermittent Code 42 w/ more info on 3.1 Lumina Euro

I forgot to mention that I have a DIS with a sequential fuel rail. I'm not sure how many injectors there are I think maybe five. I have an OBD II Scanner, does anyone know if I can get an adapter for it and if so will it give me more information than just the codes. I also have one of those cheap ones, that's how I found the Code 42. Thank you for what that code means, but remember it's intermittent, (my check engine light does not stay on) which as I understand it is a whole new ballgame. Can you tell me where I would start looking for a short? :screwy: Does anyone have a picture of the vacumn routing for 1991 3.1 Lumina Euro with A/C and Cruise Control?
