Putting a new Radio in My 03 GP GT

I just ordered a new radio from a junk yard in my 2003 Pontiac grand prix. I hear that you need a 15 digit or something code, i know how to put the radio in, but not sure on the activation part, could someone explain this process to me and where to find the activation code, thanks

If this is a stock GP radio, No, you shouldnt need a 15 digit code.

Get it installed, if for some reason your new radio is "theftlocked" send me a PM, I'll help you get it unlocked..... Not a bid problem

alright thanks, the reason i asked was because the junk yard and dealership said that you need to do something to activate, it is a stock radio out of another grand prix gt.

The junkyard doesnt know what they are talking about. Dont listen to them.
