Problem with Lights

Hey everyone, I am a new user and a automotive newbie, hopefully you guys can help me.

I have a 2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport. Yesterday, it was used as a plot car at a huge outdoor festival (i know, stupid right?) Sadly, a few of my friends thought it would be a good idea to stand on the roof. When I saw it this morning it was buckled in, so i pushed it back out. It doesn't look perfect, but its not a huge deal.

However, the center light on the ceiling, and the two lights close to where the driver's feet would be stay on, as if a door wasn't closed. However, I have checked all the doors and they are properly closed. Even when the car is off, the center light still stays on. Do you guys have any idea whats wrong? Could buckling the ceiling have messed up the wires? Will this one little light drain my battery, if so, how long do you think it might take?

Thanks in advance,
Andy

You have obviously pinched a wire to the interior light circuit.

I would start by taking the center light down and following the wire until you find the damage. I don't think it is at the door switches.

Yes, it will drain your battery...take the bulb out.

Thanks. How would I get in there? I'm worried about forcing it open and then not being able to close it again.

I think the plastic cover pops off and there are screws underneath.
