4wd linkage issue.

I've been looking around for this on the internet and such for awhile, but alas, I cannot find much.

Basically, I have a 94 cherokee with the aw4 automatic, and the np242 transfercase. I did a transmission swap awhile back, and to my surprise everything went fine, aside from a couple things. One was my speedometer, which I got straightened out, but the other is my xfercase shift linkage.

The main part (Called the Z-link I beleive),I either have it rotated 180 degrees, or possibly flipped left to right. Basically the linkages wont reattach in a meaningful way, and the shifter just binds. I'm looking for a picture, or series of pictures which shows how it should look when attached properly, so I can compare to mine and correct it. The small lobe on the transfercase itself could very well be flipped around too. Too many variables.

I can shift the transfercase by hand quite easily, and I simply left it in 4hi for the winter, and shift it to 2hi for long highway drives. I've got to get a safety inspection soon, so it needs to be fixed properly.

Anyone willing to snap some pics of the underside of their jeep for me? Or direct me to some pics on the internet? I would be VERY appreciative.

Thanks!
Rob

Surly I'm not the only one who has swapped a transmission or transfercase before. Anyone know how its suppose to be hooked up? Haynes manual is useless in this respect, and as far as I can search, so is the internet.

One last bump before I let this die. Any suggestions as to where I might find where to hook this up properly?
