01 Chevy Cavalier, the TRAC OFF Light came and I guess the rear brakes are grabbing now. Any ideas.

Has the check engine light came on at all, along with this trac off light??

No just the trac off light and the rear end hopping when you hit the brakes. I talked to him yesterday and he said his wife hit the brakes hard and the light went off and everything is back to normal.

And then at work I got a car in (04 Cavaleir) with the TRAC OFF light on along with the ABS and SERVICE REQUIRED (wrench) light on. But no other problems it drives fine, when you shut the engine off the lights go out but as soon as you start driving it maybe half a mile it will come back on with the heat on. the only code I could pull was C1225 - LF Excessive Wheel Speed Sensor Variation. So I pulled up my scope on the sensor and while sitting still the LF sensor will fluctuate up to 7 MPH - when there shouldn't be any, and the voltage from the alternator reads at 12.2, so turn the blower off and it jumps up to 13.9v and the LF Wheel speed sensor reads 0mph. Took it for a drive (long drive prolly about 8 miles) w/ heater off and no lights, come back to the shop, turn heater on and took it for another drive, the lights came on again within a half a mile. So I am thinking this may be related to a bad alternator not putting out enough power for the system or maybe the blower motor is bad and drawing too much power. oh yea and the funny thing is it doesn't set the battery light either.

But I will let you know.

Okw ell I replaced the alternato, battery and belt yesterday and that fixed the voltage drop, I still had the Service Required, Abs and TRAC OFF LIght. So I started doing some troubleshooting and found when I disconnected the connector as the ABS Controller and tested for resistance that I had none on the blue wire so it much have been broken somewhere, so i untaped it and pulled the wire loom off to find the break and when I pulled the tape the blue wire just fell out of the connector at the sensor, I soldered the wire back together and that took care of it.
