IS THERE POWER STEERING IN BMW 318TI. CUZ I CANT FIND IT. PLEASE IF YOU KNOW, DIRECT ME TO IT.

i think they use the same "reservoir" as the transmission fluid...or something. i didnt find any of the normal "containers" that say power steering fluid in my 1996 328is either so this is just a guess. if there is one on the car, i can now be labeled the official ass of the AF BMW 3 series forums :(

in almost all cars you can use atf for your power steering fluid. BMW, however, uses atf exclusively for the power steering fluid instead of actual power steering fluid.

The canister that you see labeled atf is actual the power steering reservoir. the tranny is like most other cars in the way you fill and check it. i do not believe that your car shares the atf between the two systems. . .
