What should I aim for?

I have a 1999 Neon R/T, with an Iceman intake and AF/X underdrive pulley. I have no idea what time this car is gonna hit in the 1/4 mile. Any ideas on a time I should aim for?

Depends on the condition of the engine. But stock it can do low 15's, so I'd expect about the same.

Back in the dark ages, MOPAR Action tested a 1996 ACR with Iceman and MOPAR PCM and the quarter average was about 15.1, as the ACR is pretty light I would say 15.3 would be about right.

Just came back from the drag strip. Here are my pulls:
First run: 15.8@89mph, had a lot of wheel hop off the start
Second run: 15.9@81mph, you guessed it, I put the brakes on too soon
Third run: 15.6@90mph, my best and last pull of the day
By the way, the car has 87k miles, with Mobil 1 5W-30 full synthetic, running on 93 octane premium. If it really does run low 15's stock, I wonder if the decrease was simply because of engine mileage or what?

The decrease would probably be due to engine wear.

Ahh, took a look at my motor mounts and my front one is cracked up and almost almost completely broken. I've heard that can slow the car down a bit if I'm not mistaken. Maybe some harder mounts and a new bobble strut might be in order next. Yesterday, I also managed to out-accelerate a Cooper S from 35-70mph.

Deyeme racing mounts are great quality.

Cool! I'm also thinking of trying race fuel next time (maybe 100 octane). Not sure if that will help much on a stock pcm though. Speaking of which, I might be looking to buy an AF/X race pcm, but not sure if my stock springs/retainers can handle the increased revs. Any input?

The 2.4 liter lash adjusters and cam followers are stronger, do not pump up, and are a direct swap in the 2.0 engine. MOPAR Now did a picture and text of this swap but I do not have the year/date of issue (I do have the article) lsited as MOPAR ACtion 14.
