I have a 98 Jeep Cherokee Classic. My Jeep has been overheating. I've had the water pump, clutch fan, thermostat replaced. It is still overheating, if I drive it for any distance especially when it's hot the tempature will go over to the first mark past the half way mark. If any one has a clue as to what my problem may be now please help me.

I had the same thing happen with my 95, I ended up putting an auxiliary fan in.
turns out it was suppose to be there anyway. Somehow it was missing from previous owners.

Welcome to AF, for the problem does the aux electric fan come on when the vehicle get's hot or when you turn on the a/c. If it doesn't have an electrical fan mounted on the radiator along with the mechanical fan then you need to get one as the mechanical fan is not powerful enough to pull enough air across the radiator to keep it cool. If that's fine then try running some cooling system cleaner and radiator flush through the cooling system and completely flushing the cooling system until nothing but clear water runs out(make sure that the heater is on full blast). Then when refilling after getting the antifreeze mixture to the correct balance add a bottle of water wetter which is available at most auto parts stores. It works wonders for helping with overheating problems.
