Many interior lights out

I have a handful of interior lights that aren't working anymore in my 93 euro. These lights include all the courtesy lights in three doors (illuminated words for PW's and PL's, front passenger door works for whatever reason) my shifter lights (illuminated gear letters) as well asn my climate control lights. Was wondering if anyone else encountered this problem before. It's only worrisome to me right now because my car right now is very mechanically sound and i'm going through all the aesthetically pleasing aspects of the car right now to make it perfect (or as close to it as possible).
So, any help on where I can start would be awesome.

Start by checking/replacing the lamps in those locations.

I did the same thing on my car last year. The bulbs for "lock" and "up/down" are fairly easy to change and the bulbs are readily availiable at any parts store. As far as the shifter lights go, I have no clue....do you have a shifter on the column or a floor mounted one? Lastly, the climate control lights are very difficult if not impossible to replace. Mine went out completely. I knew where all the buttons were, but like you, I was going for aesthetics! I unplugged the controls from the dash and tried to pry it open (major PITA!), then after deciding that it might be possible to change the bulbs I got the bulb number from the owner's manual and could not find replacements anywhere! (I didn't check at dealership). Long story short, I picked up a new unit from the junkyard for a few bucks and the bulbs are just starting to go out again.

I guess you have to go again to the junk yard.

GL with that.

probably so! Dino, have you ever tried to get those bulbs out of there? I wonder what a new box from GM would run....scary thought!!

You can find many of the specialty miniature lamps at many places, like this:
