The title should read Questions about service engine soon light
If you disconnect the positive on the battery, will it reset or clear the errors? Someone told me that it would and I was just curious about it. Also does the computer keep a log of every error it has ever received? Are the scanners capable of clearing errors after you fix the problem? And finally what is the big difference between the basic scanner and the real expensive ones? Thanks in advance.

You need a scanner to remove set codes...I really don't know much beyond that, Blue bowtie or Maxwedge, or Richtazz are the scanner guys...I'm a cheapass and love a mystery, so I don't use them as much as possible:lol:
