I recently put my lumina back on the road it is a 1991 3.1. after the engine got to temp. it started stalling out. started it up in the morning got to temp. and did the same thing. I changed the front plugs wires and air filter, I also checked fuel pressure 45 psi. I went 10 min. down the road it stalled and refused to start until it was cold. It also self governs well before it should resulting in a stall. Please if any body has any good ideas help me:confused:

get it to stall and check for spark when it wont start. If you do not have spark, look into maybe a crank sensor or an ignition module issue.

:2cents: I checked for spark when it was not starting, but I had spark. I did have better luck after changing the back plugs. Better acceleration still randomly stalls at lights and under heavy acceleration. The no start symptoms are during hot and cold basically when ever it wants to it starts. Some times it won't start unless I use starting fluid. After start it burns up the ether and stalls. Eventually it will start. Starting to think it is an injection problem not an icm or cps issue. Do these cars develop injector issues, my fuel pump seems to be operating fine. Once again my fuel pressure is good at the rail.:screwy:
