taking the head off is pretty easy but oil on your plugs is not a problem with the head. the problem is about 99.9% likely that its at the seals between the valve cover and the spark plug tubes. taking the valve cover off is extremely easy, and replacing those seals are just about as easy, they can be pulled off with your bare hand and new ones just slide into place. i would by all means avoid taking off the head because first i cant think of a reason to and second you will have to replace the head gasket which is not cheap. plus that involves taking the timing belt off.

i replaced the head gasket and timing belt and just finished up yesterday, started the car, and the problem has worsened. the water and oil are mixing up together worser than before, 10 fold. we did everything to specs. i used that spray copper gasket on the new multi layer steel head gasket i got from the dodge dealership. can't figure out where the problem is. so looks like i have to do it all over again.
any ideas?? i posted this here again caused i'm :banghead: from all the hard work i did, that resulted in worser results.

sounds to me like you might have a cracked head, i bought a new head at the salvage yard for $50 but im not 100% that is your problem. the head gasket wouldnt make any difference in this situation
