I had that EXACT problem with my '97 Cirrus.:iceslolan Turned out, one of the wheel sensors had overheated and melted (mine was the left rear). I went to a salvage yard and got another (both rear wheels the same) for $5:2cents: .
I also replaced the rear brake hoses and wheel cylinders with a brake overhaul. Reassembled and bled all four wheel until fluid was clear.

Problem solved! BTW, change the auto transfluid REGULARLY with Mopar fluid if you want the trans to last:nono: .

I went to Chrysler this weekend. Unfortunately I have to replace the ABS assembly. Part cost 750.00 labor 750.00..I just had the ABS disabled and my brakes redone...And it rides perfectly new...:iceslolan

***I did not get it fixed I had the ABS disabled for free**
-I only had to pay for the brake pads and new rotors...**

*** If I wanted it repaired it would be approx $1500.00..
