I have a 1996 Jimmy that needs a little TLC and I'm short on money but have plenty of confidence in myself, since I just replaced both side mirrors.

The rear wiper motor isn't working and I want to replace it, however I can't even get the tailgate guts off to access the motor. How do I get access to the motor?

Both my rear and front wiper arms need to be replaced. I've be able to get the plastic housing off the arms and unscrew the nut on the front wipers but I can't pry them off. Do they need WD40 or am I missing something?

remove the 10mm bolts around the outer edge of the black metal plate then you can remove it to acces the motor. be sure to reconect all the rods for the tailgate handle (made the mistake of not looking and my tailgate got stuck closed, used a hanger to reopen it and conected the rods).
