Okay heres the deal. My truck was working GREAT, then I moved my drivers seat back and then it stopped in the middle and wont work however you bounce or sit on the seat again and the overhead light blinks rapidly!?? and my power lock only want to work when you slam the door a million times!! same with the seat. so i took the fuse, out because it was soo overheated i thought it was goin to blow up! What shoul I do? Another question, My truck would start eventually but then stall unless you have your foot on the gas, but when you start driving it the minute you stop it dies and takes forever to start back up. I changed the fuel filter and now the damn thing wont even turn over. HELP!
Thanks, sorry its so long.

Welcome to AF Candym20. you post if a bit hard to understand and pick apart.
My guess as to your electrical problems would be a bad ground somewhere, possibley under the carpet near the seat motor on the driver side. did you say that the motor overheated?
As for the problem with the engine stalling, have youu ever had the fuel pump replaced? how many miles are on your truck? now you say the truck will not start? can you give us any more info?

Hey I know there is so much going on with it at once its like omy god I cant take it!! Now the fuse for the door locks and seats was overheating. I bought the truck at 96 thousand now its at 110 thousand. I've never changed the fuel pump. Im actually just trying to get it to a dealership that was willing to but it. I do not want to spend $300 on the fuel pump. Its not in my care now its actually at a friends house where he is trying to figure out why its not starting. He was supposed to check to see if there was any spark, and all the plugs ign. coil. But I have not heard from him so I dont think he has checked yet.

have you ever replaced your ignition switch ?
do a search on this forum and the Chevy Blazer forum ... very common problem that causes all sorts of strange no starts and engine dying ...
the seat and doorlocks sounds like a short or physical pinch or bare spot in the wiring ... not fun to track down ...

Ok, here is the fix...(Your overheated breaker fuse told me) Your seat power runs underneath our feet. AS time goes on with salt and foot pressure the wires wear and what is happening is your power wire to your seats are grounding against the body or the ground wire itself.
Remove the seat, set off to the side. Remove side trimming along the carpet (simply pull straight up). Pull the wiring for the seat out. For your year it is only 2 wires. Orange and Black (orange=12v+ constant).
Cut to what looks good as far from the plug as possible. Cut out the remaining about 5 inches down the firewall. Splice in new wire with solder and heat shrink, then wrap the entire thing in electrical tape. (Will help pad and water proof it) Should be good for another 11 years.
