The title for this vehicle says that its a 1994 3000GT SL but it doesn't have any SL emblems on it? What do you guys think, is it a base model or SL? because if its an SL I am gonna seriously look into picking it up.

It's an SL. Pre-97 they didn't have many of them that were tagged SL because they had no need. SL was the base until 97 when they came out with SOHC's.

::edit:: Notice that it says DOHC on the engine. Also notice that it has a straight pipe from the intake to the throttle body, instead of an inverted y-pipe for the intercoolers.

Its definately a SL. It has leather seats (only in SL and VR4). Thats one tell tail sign Plus you can tell in one of the pics that it has Tour/Sport suspension because of the button located on the right side of the steering wheel (only in SL or VR4). Looks like a very nice car. That could be a very good find if you should pick it up for a good price.

Edit: Morph, it being a DOHC 3kgt shows nothing for the year 94 since they were all DOHC's.

Well, since they were all DOHC's I was trying to point out that it had to be an SL because it was missing the Y-pipe(out of many other things) that would make it a VR4.

Here are some specs of the 3/S. Also read that FAQ. It can answer so many of your questions.

Powertrain Options and Availability
All 3000GTs from 1991 to 1996 used a 3.0-liter V6 engine with dual-overhead camshafts. A normally aspirated version went into base and midrange models, developing 222 horsepower (218 in '97). The hottest model, the VR-4, got a twin-turbo rendition that made 300 horsepower (increased to 320 for 1994). The VR-4 could only be equipped with 5-speed manual shift (6-speed manual, starting in 1993). Other 3000GTs might have the optional 4-speed automatic transmission. For 1997, a new base model carried a 161-horsepower V6 with a single-overhead camshaft.

There was also 91-96 base 3000gt's. My 94 is a base 3000gt. The base was just the like the ES Stealth in that it had the DOHC engine but none of the amenities of the SL.
