Gmc Jimmy-axle Swap

Is it worth putting a front axle in a 2001 jimmy. I'll be paying it off for another five years and i want to put a lift kit on the jimmy but, because its ifs its a questionable lift to put on because the pitman arms on my jimmy and alot of other peoples jimmys are pretty weak. And i already tore apart the ifs in the past i had to shove out $1300 last time it happened to fix it so, what do u think i should do?

I would put my support behind doing a SAS if someone was really serious about doing it. IFS sucks for doing any serious offroading espically if you are considering a lift. If you dont do the SAS and you do go through with a lift or bigger tires then you will most likely tear that IFS up again. Me personally if i had the funds to do a SAS i would but for now its on the list of to do's.
