hi all, this has been a great help on my car so far, i'm back with more questions, there is a griding noise under the hood on the passenger side, i'm not sure if it's coming from a pulley or not, and i'm not sure how to really find out,, everybody keeps telling me it's a bearing in the SC but aside from the noise there is no difference in the way the engine runs and i'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem? any suggestions?

If it's a high mileage car, it could be any belt driven pulley or accessory. Take the belts off and spin each by hand. The one(s) that feel loose or gritty are the noise makers. With the belts back on, if you turn the air conditioning on and it goes away, it's a compressor clutch/pulley going bad.

Noisy tensioners do not necessarily affect performance.

On the supercharger it could be a loose pulley, the snout bearings, tensioner, or the idler pulley. Remove the SC belt and then check for noises. At least you can illiminate the supercharger and see if it is something else like the main drive belt and tensioner system or a component such as water pump or alternator, etc.
