Random Dieing when Braking, Laggy/Stuttering Takeoff.

Im having a similar problem with my 95 2 door AT that some seem to be having, but the description isnt quite the same. Mine suddenly happened about a week or so ago when I was coming into town...I stopped for the stop sign, and Im not sure if it was a heaving braking or not, but my car stuttered in a ABS like fashion, then died. The oil and battery light came on, but thats normal I think. When I started it again though, I went to take off at a slow speed and it died again...so then I started it in neutral and revved it and put it into drive, then kept on the gas so it wouldnt die and I finally took off ok. After that, everything seemed to be fine on every corner where I would have to slow down. The same thing happened about an hour or so later, but then never happened till last Sunday, and just the stuttering happened. Now tonight, I was driving fine for about 20 mins of highway, 10 in town, then 10 back home...and pulling into my driveway it died again. I started it and let it sit while I got the mail, and it drove up to the house fine. It has 60k miles, so its fresh for being a 95.

Also, it might be insignificant, but there is a moderate antifreeze smell coming from the right side of the engine...right around the ABS module. From reading the posts, Ive come to the conclusion of a bad cat, fuel filter, or coil pack. All of those though wouldnt explain the random occurance. Ive been avoiding cruising town lately because its embarassing when it dies, and I could get in an accident trying to keep it alive...but Im going to Fargo on Friday and I dont want it to die in traffic. I live in MN and its been in the 0-30 degree range for the last 2 weeks Ive been driving. The problem seems to be heat related, since it only happens when I drive for a long distance and take multiple turns. No lights come on when this happens either...and nothing dims or anything...just a stutter and it stalls.

Any info or advice would help...thanks!

Ive been looking around, and I also changed my fuel filter, but it happened again tonight. Now Im starting to think its a vaccum problem...or PCV valve. I wouldnt have any idea of how to check either though. Info is appreciated...thanks.

This most definetly has to be the TCC Solenoid. Every other occurance of this failing that I have read on the internet points to this. I can unplug it for this trip...but after that...whats it going to cost to get this fixed? Anybody had this problem before? Some feedback would be good...thanks.
