Left front noise, any ideas?

Hi guys I have a 93' sedan eurosport and the car is making a loud pop when I make a right hand turn. This noise is intermitent and has been hard to pinpoint. I have replaced the struts with Monroe Sensatracs, I also have checked the tie rods,ball joint, and sway bar bushings and they are nice and tight. The car has 81,100 miles on it. Please lmk what you think it could be. Thanks in advance

maybe a cv joint? I'm not exactly sure how to check one, but if one ever broke it would act just like you dropped the tranny. And the drive gear will just be flopping around when you floor it., destroying everything in its path. Be careful.

Tighten the caliper brackets, then check the axle nuts, 185 torque on them.

Caliper bracket was tight, used red locktite last brake job on the brackets bolt threads. I have no way of applying that kind of torque to the axle nut. The car has the original axles in it, do the bolts loosen over time? Is it just one bolt?


Update: I can make the car produce the noise with the car in park and just by turning the wheel slightly to the right while sitting still. My girlfriend's Altima did this when the inner tie rods were worn out. Her car had alot of play in the steering when grabbing the tire at the sides and moving it back and forth. I did this test and grabbed at the top and bottom of the tire and tried to move it. Their was no play in it. Any new ideas with this new info? Thanks

It sounds like a bad hub bearing to me. I had a Cavalier that did the exact same thing. It had no other signs of a bad hub bearing (hum/vibration while driving, high speed shimmy, etc.... If everything else checks out, loosen the axle nut, jack up the car, and then try moving the wheel. If you have free play with the axle nut loose, it's bearing time. If the pop goes away with the axle nut loose, it's probably a CV axle.
