Lumina z-34 lean fuel/egr code 44 and 32

I changed the egr (used) and now I have 2 codes 44 and 32 with the old egr I only had one code 32. I'm asumming that both egrs are bad but, could anything else be wrong? I tried spraying ether around the vacuum lines no change in idle. This only happens after 20 minutes of driving (after warmed up) the check engine light comes on. Gives those 2 codes. It also revs high at first start up and then levels off after I start out. This is a 1992 Z-34 3.4 5 speed. It was stalling at redlights after it was warmed up, but I found a bad connector on the pcv valve hose going from the intake hose to the T behind the intake, near the firewall. I just don't want to spend $100.00 on a egr and have this only be a symptom. Any thoughts?
