Fuel filter. helllllp

I have to do a fuel filter on a 97 cirrus, and i know what i have to do and everything, but can someone tell me if i have to lower the fuel tank a little to reach the other line?

yes lower the tank a little there should be a drain in the bottom to get out the gas if you have a lot in the tank good luck and make sure all lines are fully connected before raising tank
