I am not familiar with Toyota carburators, but i have a pretty good understanding of how they work. I am having trouble adjusting my choke in order for it to run better in cold winter conditions. The first 10- 30 seconds after start up it seems to run on only 2-3 cylinders. It is not an ignition problem because i just did a complete tune up (wires plugs distributor and rotor air filter fuel fiter) Fuel pump has correct pressure of around 10 psi. I also changed my head gasket intake and exhaust gaskets because they were leaking, I timed my engine and did final adjusting on distributor. I have eliminated all possibilities other then my carb. Any advice on how to adjust my carb would be greatly appriciated.

Hey Sounds real simaliar to my car troubles!! the float in the carb came of the pin, on one side and got twisted and was allowing to much fuel in to the engine. pull top off carb turn upside down and look at float it should have 9/32" clearance betwwen top of float and carb body. is it fouling any of the plugs??
